1. Creative Inspiration

This vase draws its design inspiration from an “aesthetic experiment with ‘inverted vessels’” — breaking away from the conventional “narrow neck, wide body” form of traditional vases. By adopting a reverse structure featuring a hemispherical, wide base paired with a slender, tapered mouth, the vase not only leverages the natural curvature of the hemisphere to cradle dried flowers or small fresh-cut blooms, but also employs clean, geometric lines to evoke a modern, minimalist aesthetic—perfect for decorating compact spaces such as desks and windowsills.

2. Printing Requirements

1. Material Selection: PLA is the preferred choice for its smooth surface finish and vibrant color saturation; however, if you plan to fill the vase with water to display fresh-cut flowers, PETG is recommended for its superior water resistance.
2. Print Settings:
- Layer Height: 0.16 mm (for enhanced surface smoothness);
- Infill Density: 15–20% (lightweight yet sufficient to support the structure);
- Print Temperature: Set the nozzle to 200°C and the heated bed to 60°C for PLA; for PETG, set the nozzle to 230°C and the heated bed to 70°C;
- Support Structures: No supports are required, as both the hemispherical base and the narrow bottle neck are designed to self‑support;
- Wall Thickness: We recommend printing with 2–3 layers (approximately 1.2–1.8 mm) to ensure structural stability.
3. Post‑Processing: After printing, lightly sand the curved surfaces using 2000‑grit sandpaper, or apply a thin coat of PLA clear coat to enhance gloss; gently smooth the edges of the bottle mouth to remove any burrs.

3. Usage & Assembly Instructions

1. For Dried Flower Displays: Simply insert dried flowers or wheat stalks directly into the bottle’s narrow opening—the hemispherical base provides stable support on flat surfaces;
2. For Fresh Flower Displays (available only in the PETG version):
- Inspect the vase body for any print defects or tiny gaps—if present, seal them with a small amount of clear silicone sealant;
- Fill the vase with clean water to no more than one-third of its total height (to prevent excessive weight and potential tipping), then arrange your fresh-cut flowers inside.
