My son is learning sight words, so I thought it would be handy to display them throughout the home on index cards. I created the frame to make it easy to slide them out and change them throughout the year, without having to reapply tape or other fasteners. And I added holes for magnets, to make it easy to place them on the fridge and other places.  Plus, the frame gives the cards a little weight, so they're less likely to blow over or fly off a surface. It could be handy also for displaying pictures.
