A clever rabbit mechanism that can conceal items inside its belly.

Assembly Instructions:

1. Attach the handle to the front end of the arm.

2. Mount the gears onto the printed “feet” component—due to modeling imperfections, this step may require a bit of force.

3. Adhere the soles of the feet to the legs.

4. Secure the half‑egg-shaped gear assembly next to the first set of gears.

5. Push the rabbit’s body into place, fully enveloping the half‑egg structure (apply firm pressure), and carefully glue the waist area in position—taking care not to bond the gears themselves.

6. Place the gift on the baseplate, insert a small board in the center of the gift, then position the rabbit behind the board, ensuring that the foot gears mesh with the board’s teeth. Remove the gift and the board, and glue the rabbit in this location.

7. Re‑place the board and the gift.

The finished rabbit treasure box is complete: when the board is positioned at the front, the rabbit’s belly cannot be rotated directly, thus achieving the intended purpose of hiding objects. However, as a playful little mechanism at its core, this model isn’t really suited for concealing anything substantial.

Extra Note: There’s a minor design quirk—the half‑egg-shaped object serving as the hidden‑item barrier cannot rotate all the way to the left. When opening the mechanism, be sure to rotate the barrier counterclockwise; when closing it, reverse the direction.
