Minimalist power roller blind IKEA TUPPLUR using existing brackets holder. Just remove the spring roller (which is always not working and jammed anyway) and print a motor hex connector socket. Using existing metal bracket from the blind screw a JGY-37 10RPM 12V motor. This motor is very quiet and powerful. Speed is just perfect, not too fast and not too slow. Align the motor shaft and require to drill 2 motor mount hole and 1 shaft hole for the motor. Get a Hex brass coupling and screw it (in fact I print very tight and hammer it) to the printed socket.
Material:
-IKEA Tupplur
-JGY-37 10 RPM, 12V DC motor (any type will do that fit your IKEA roller blind holder)
-M3 screws to mount motor holder (depends on your motor)
-Hex Brass motor Coupling (easily get from any RC toy car to connect motor shaft to wheels)
-Rocker switch (get from any car accessories for power window switch)
-Electric wires
Print the "window blind socket v4.stl" for the roller blind socket. Attached the HEX brass coupling. Depends on the print fitness, you can use hammer or a vice to press in the HEX brass coupling.
Print at 50% infill.
If socket is loose, just add some a few round of tape to secured it.
Print the Rocker switch compact housing - Rocker Switch v12.stl
This is a tight fit housing. I don't fancy elaborate design , just minimalist and functioning print to keep the 12V wiring secured and protected.
Require soldering and minimal drilling (3 drill holes only!)
