This is a simple solution for those who bought a newer Ender 3 printer that has press fit pulleys and you want to remove/replace them in order to install stepper motor dampers or other modifications.
You will also need:
- One (1) long M5 screw. I used an extra M5 45 that came with the Ender 3.
- One (1) M5 nut. Got mine from the hardware store for 45 cents.
- Pulley heads with set screws. I got a 5-pack off Amazon for $7.
- One (1) allen wrench (hex key) that fits the M5 screw. I used the biggest one that came with my Ender 3.

The main reason I'm posting this is to provide a better solution for anyone trying to add dampers to their stepper motors. However, the original creator only has his content available in French. Please at least click on his blog to check it out as he has other neat creations.
