👋Do you have a Geeetech spool (or a larger spool that is around 74MM or so) that just doesn't fit on your CC2 filament spools? If so, then you need this simple adapter. Just print it out, push it on the Geeetech spool and slide it on your CC2 holders! BOOM! 💥Start printing 🙂
In all seriousness, I designed this as I purchased a non-ELEGOO filament (Geeetech in this case) and it didn't fit on the CC2 holders because the Geeetech spools have larger holes. So by using this I can easily adapt their spools onto my printer without any issue.
The tolerance is pretty snug, so when you insert it into your spool you might have to push harder or give it a little thump 🔨to make it fit better. Once on though, it shouldn't slip or come off.
It's a super easy print on the CC2 (my printer) but should be fine on any other printer as well.
