Durability was one of the main challenges in design and printing.

In particular, z-layer adhesion poses a significant issue. Current iterations are quite stable, especially those printed with supports.

 

The model can be printed in two configurations:

  1. Standing, without supports → The bolt breaks when repeatedly fired at hard targets
  2. Lying down, with supports → The bolt is considerably more robust

Note: The bolt is very hard—do not shoot it at people!
