2. Basic Print Settings
- Layer Height: 0.2 mm—balancing precision with printing efficiency.
- Infill Density: 15%–20%—ensuring structural integrity while minimizing material waste.
- Print Speed: 60–80 mm/s; for intricate details, slow down to 40–50 mm/s.
- Nozzle Temperature: 190–210°C; Bed Temperature: 60°C—standard settings for PLA.
3. Support Structures & Overhang Handling
- For areas with overhang angles exceeding 45°—such as the horse’s legs, the monkey’s hands, and the cloud patterns at the base—support structures are essential.
- We suggest using tree‑like supports or water‑soluble supports like PVA to minimize damage to the model’s surface.
- When removing supports, use needle‑nose pliers in conjunction with a utility knife to gently peel away the supports from delicate features like the horse’s legs, taking care to avoid breakage.
4. Post‑Processing
- After removing supports, lightly sand any residual marks with fine sandpaper (2000 grit or higher).
