Model designed to cover the top of the printer when assembling the canvas system; in my case, I’ve also used this design to mount a previously printed cover for internal ventilation when printing PLA, though the glass lid can be placed directly on top of the model.

It raises the structure by about 7 cm above the printer’s original roof and slightly lowers the canvas to provide a more natural routing for the tubing. Inside, the tubes are secured at the rear to the frame up to just under halfway through the part, after which PTFE tube spacers are installed—these can be mounted either inside or outside to achieve a professional finish.

Each component is clearly labeled both on the print bed and on the part itself: LV (left side empty), front, FC (front canvas), DV (front empty), and TV (rear empty). Parts without labels are those that don’t have any openings. Each piece is joined internally with two connectors; from the outside, nothing is visible, and the joints are very strong without the need for glue.

The PTFE tubes must be replaced with longer ones—the original canvas tubes won’t work—but they’re easy to find online at any store. In total, about 4 meters of tubing are used.
