Pro Tip for Supports: For effortless support removal, pay attention to your nozzle temperature. Matte PLA yields the cleanest break-away results at 220°C, while standard PLA / PLA+ releases cleanly around 210°C. Excessive heat can fuse the interface layers right onto the detailed overhangs.

About the Model & Painting The model holds an imposing presence in plain matte black, but multi-tone dry brushing brings out every carved scale and ridge:

• Neck Scales & Feathers: Dry brushed with rich brass as the primary metallic base, catching the light across the tiered plumage.
• Beak, Comb & Wattles: Accented with warm bronze along the hard beak edges, eye ridges, and serrated comb tips to push contrast and depth.
• Pedestal Base: Finished with a light brush of brass along the beveled edges to maintain the classic, weathered stone aesthetic.
