This model faithfully replicates the traditional architectural forms of ancient Chinese buildings, featuring a complete roof system, dougong brackets, beam-and-column structure, and detailed base railings. The design employs a modular mortise-and-tenon interlocking system, enabling glue-free assembly throughout. Its structure has been meticulously optimized for home-use FDM 3D printing, minimizing unnecessary supports and delivering clean, crisp results—making it ideal for studying ancient architecture, educational demonstrations, tabletop dioramas, collectible displays, or scene-building projects.

1. Authentic Replication of Traditional Architectural Forms

Adhering strictly to the principles of traditional Chinese architectural construction, this model recreates key features such as curved rooflines, tiled roof ridges, upturned eaves, layered dougong brackets, vertical columns and horizontal beams, and the Sumeru pedestal base. With precise proportions and realistic detailing, it captures the aesthetic essence of authentic ancient structures.

2. Detachable Modular Structure

The entire building is divided into standardized, independent components that fit together via mortise-and-tenon joints and self-locking snap-fit connections, allowing for secure assembly without glue. This design facilitates repeated disassembly and reassembly, making it perfect for exploring internal structural details, promoting public understanding of ancient architecture, and providing an engaging hands-on building experience.

It can also serve as a bookstand; the base is crafted from marble PLA filament, adding depth and visual appeal.
