  • Layer Height: 0.05 mm
  • Anti-aliasing: ON (level 2–4)
  • Image Blur: OFF

(Lower layers are possible, but 0.05 mm is the sweet spot for speed + detail)

⏱️ EXPOSURE SETTINGS (LOW, BUT SAFE)

Normal Layers

  • Exposure Time: 2.0 – 2.2 s
(Start at 2.2 s — the flame needs slightly more curing than flat surfaces)

Bottom Layers

  • Bottom Layers Count: 4
  • Bottom Exposure Time: 20 s

🛠️ LIFT & SPEED

  • Lift Distance: 5 mm
  • Lift Speed: 80 mm/min
  • Retract Speed: 150 mm/min

📐 ORIENTATION (CRITICAL FOR THIS MODEL)

  • Tilt 35–40° backwards
  • Slight left or right tilt (5–10°) to protect the flame
  • Keep the flame pointing upward, never parallel to the build plate

This reduces:

  • Suction on the robe
  • Layer stress on the flame
  • Support scars on the face

🧱 SUPPORT STRATEGY

Type: Medium + light mix

Medium supports

  • Feet
  • Base edge
  • Lower robe folds

Light supports

  • Flame tip and mid-sections
  • Fingers
  • Sleeve edge
  • Chin (1–2 light supports, hidden underneath)

Support tip diameter

  • Medium: 0.4 mm
  • Light: 0.3 mm

🔥 FLAME-SPECIFIC NOTES

  • The flame is a high-failure zone
  • Do not underexpose below 2.0 s
  • Add extra light supports along the flame spine
  • Avoid heavy supports on the flame → scars are very visible

🧠 WHY THESE SETTINGS

  • DLP allows short exposure, but thin effects need margin
  • Slightly higher exposure than the Funko-style model
  • Orientation protects the flame and the face simultaneously
  • Low bottom layers avoid base deformation

⚠️ QUICK CALIBRATION TIP

If flame layers look soft:

  • Increase exposure by +0.1 s

If details on the robe look bloated:

  • Decrease exposure by –0.1 s

Do not touch bottom exposure unless adhesion fails.
