  • Hideaway House

Inspired by traditional Chinese residential architecture, this 3D-printed hideaway seamlessly blends the weathered, decaying aesthetic of time-worn structures with the functional needs of aquascaping, making it an ideal design for fish tanks, planted tanks, and biotope tanks featuring South American native species.

The model precisely replicates classic elements of traditional Chinese architecture: the elegantly upturned gable roofs with flying eaves, the staggered patterns of roof tiles, intricately carved window lattices, and partially collapsed courtyard walls. Every detail captures the aged, weathered patina left by time—cracked roofs, crumbling walls, and half-open wooden doors—imbuing the entire piece with a sense of narrative and evoking the image of a forgotten Jiangnan courtyard in ruins. The interior space is spacious and well-ventilated, with ample hiding areas that perfectly meet the habitat requirements of ornamental shrimp, small tetras, bettas, dwarf cichlids, and other aquatic creatures. It provides a safe refuge to reduce stress while serving as a striking visual focal point that enhances the overall tank ambiance.

Manufactured using a one-piece 3D printing process, the structure is robust and seamless, made from safe, odorless materials that do not contaminate water upon immersion. It is suitable for both freshwater and marine aquarium environments. The base features a flat design, allowing it to sit securely on the tank floor, or it can be combined with live plants, driftwood, and decorative rocks to create intricate aquascape compositions, effortlessly bringing to life an underwater garden imbued with traditional Chinese artistic flair. Whether you’re aiming for the vintage charm of a South American biotope tank or the fresh, natural look of a planted tank, this design integrates beautifully, instantly elevating your aquarium with a distinctive artistic quality while providing a safe and aesthetically pleasing home for your aquatic inhabitants.
