Stackable Linkage Push-Pull Storage Box – Structural Overview
It features a stackable dual-linkage mechanism, comprising two crossed linkages, a movable door panel, and M2 hardware screws, which enables synchronous mechanical linkage between the drawer and the door panel.
The square storage compartment is integrally 3D-printed in a perfectly rectangular shape, with a neat, hollow interior designed for storing items. Precise screw holes are pre-drilled in the side walls to serve as fixed pivot points for the linkages, ensuring both structural strength and precise opening/closing alignment. The linkages are hinged to the lower ends of the screws, allowing them to rise and close in sync with the drawer’s push-and-pull motion. Two sets of symmetrical, elongated linkages are cross-hinged to the box body and the door panel, forming the core transmission structure that enables this coordinated movement:
- When the drawer is pulled out, the linkages drive the door panel to move outward in tandem and automatically lift, fully opening the storage compartment;
- When the drawer is pushed back in, the linkages reverse their motion, causing the door panel to close automatically, thus achieving one-touch opening and closing. The linkage logic is ingeniously designed: the drawer’s push-and-pull action is perfectly synchronized with the door panel’s opening and closing, making operation convenient and providing a smooth user experience. Each component is independently 3D-printed and assembled using screws, allowing users to freely combine and stack units according to their specific storage needs, while also facilitating maintenance and replacement.
