I loved the idea of recycling empty filament spool into a ball track for entertaining cats. 

Some models consume a lot of filament… which produce addintionnal empty spools. Not good, as the goal is to recycle empty spools. 

For that purpose, I appreciated very much Kepler's model which was based on Bambu spools, but I wasn't fan of the big connector pieces.

I then decided to remix it in order to:

• fit my Elegoo spools
• ensure connection only through a cutted piece of filament (I advise between 12 and 20mm)
• ensure the printed parts are not easily sliding out of the spool sides 

For that purpose, I finally was forced to redesign from scratch.

So far the print profile contain two different models:

1. Ball track for Elegoo PLA or PLA pro cardbox spools (spools are not identical, but the model was designed to handle both)
2. Ball track for Elegoo transparent plastic spools (ex: PLA silk). They have slightly lower diameter (~5mm) and the side are slightly thinner

Other spools with external diameter around 20 cm could fit alright too. Please give feedback in the comments, I'll compile your feedback here to document spool compatibility.

Additionally, if you want me to adapt the model with different diameters or side thickness, offer me a coffe, and I will gladly adapt the model to your specific needs.

I personnally printed the following balls:

• Ball in ball (take Elegoo Centauri Carbon print profile by Skratt for compatible ball diameter)

• Twist & Treat Ball (take Elegoo Centauri Carbon print profile by Skratt for compatible ball diameter)

• Multi-pattern balls (take Elegoo Centauri Carbon print profile by Skratt for compatible ball diameter)

But you could use any balls with external diameter smaller than your spool height and bigger than spool height minus 10 mm.
