This is a heavy-duty, 100% 3D-printable stash case designed to perfectly house a standard bank strap of 100 hundred-dollar bills ($10,000). Engineered from the ground up for FDM printing, this case requires zero metal hardware, threaded inserts, or magnets.
IF YOU LIKE IN YOUR SLICER YOU CAN ADD THREADS TO THE SCREWS AND THE HOLES.
- Material: PLA is fine for a desk piece, but PETG or ABS/ASA is recommended for better impact resistance and long-term durability of the threads.
- Orientation: Print the lid and base flat on their backs. Print the screws vertically, resting on their flat heads.
- Settings: No supports are required for any part of this model(BUT IF YOU DID HAVE THEM IT WOULD BE FOR THE COUNTER SINK ON THE SCREW HOLES). Standard 0.2mm layer height works great for the case halves. For the best possible thread engagement, you can drop the layer height to 0.12mm specifically for the screws IF YOU DECIDE TO ADD THREADS…..
