Topology optimization is an advanced structural mechanics technology widely applied in aerospace, aviation, high-performance sports cars, and modern architecture. The resulting geometries often resemble organically grown tree structures—fluid, dynamic, and naturally well-suited to additive manufacturing (3D printing).

To free up space above the printer, I designed this topology-optimized wall-mount bracket for the AMS2 PRO. Structural simulations were conducted using ABS material at 100% infill. The design load exceeds 30 kg for a single bracket and 60 kg for a pair—far greater than any realistic usage scenario. Therefore, more common materials such as PLA or PETG, as well as lower infill percentages, are perfectly viable. For example, my own installation uses ABS at just 15% infill.

It should be noted that, due to limited time and resources, I have not yet conducted systematic validation across other materials and load conditions. As such, please ensure you perform your own heavy-load testing before installing the AMS2 PRO. Feedback and suggestions are welcome. If there is sufficient interest, I will continue expanding testing and optimization updates to better meet user needs.
