Design Inspiration

The inspiration came from the need for a "tailor-made" fit. Most standard bit holders are designed for short 25mm or 50mm bits, leaving 100mm bits sticking out awkwardly. This case was built from the ground up to match the specific height and shank diameter of a standard 100mm Torx set, balancing portability with durability.

Printing Requirements

• Material: PLA (for stiffness) or PETG (for extra durability/impact resistance).
• Layer Height: 0.2mm or 0.28mm (works perfectly for these tolerances).
• Infill: 15-20% (Grid or Gyroid).
• Supports: No supports required. The model is designed to be printed flat on the bed.
• Walls: At least 3 wall loops for a sturdy hinge and latch.

Assembly Instructions

The case consists of two main parts: the Main Body and the Upper Detail (Lid).

1. Clean any stray filament from the hinge areas.
2. Align the lid with the base.
3. Use a small piece of 1.75mm filament or an M3 screw (depending on your preference) as the hinge pin.
4. Snap the latch shut to ensure a snug fit.
