I was getting ready to whip up some desserts, but once I’d stocked up on a variety of food colorings, storage became a real headache. So I designed a dedicated colorant storage box—and since I always need an electronic scale at hand, I incorporated a convenient, easily accessible storage compartment while making the most of the remaining space to create a small utility slot for holding little odds and ends.

PS: I’ve found that stacking the box vertically works pretty well—though it does make it a bit trickier to access the small storage slot. On the bright side, the electronic scale is now much easier to grab and use!
