High-Voltage Transmission Tower Model

This meticulously crafted 1:100 scale model represents a high-voltage transmission tower, carefully designed to replicate the intricate lattice structure and technical components of real-world power transmission infrastructure.

The model stands impressively at 540mm in height, with a footprint of 92mm x 92mm.

The tower features the classic lattice framework construction typical of high-voltage transmission infrastructure, with a tapered design that broadens at multiple cross-arm levels. Each level supports transmission lines that extend outward from the main structure, represented by thin wires that accurately mimic the catenary curves of actual power lines.

Technical Components

The model includes specialized high-voltage elements:

  • Multiple transmission levels with cross-arms at different heights
  • HV_wire: The primary conductors that carry the electrical current
  • HV_G-wire: Ground wires positioned at the tower's apex for lightning protection
  • Glass_izolation: Insulator components that prevent electrical discharge between the tower structure and the conductors

Manufacturing Details

The model comprises numerous individual components outlined in the file list, including:

  • Various border and level sections that create the tower's distinctive profile
  • Specialized brackets (labeled as "breket") at critical structural junctions
  • Glass insulator components separating the conductive elements from the tower structure
  • High-voltage wires and ground wires for lightning protection

Supporting bracket components (labeled as "breket") are positioned at specific junctions:

  • L1-2: Bracket connecting Level 1 and Level 2
  • L2-3: Bracket connecting Level 2 and Level 3
  • L3-4: Bracket connecting Level 3 and Level 4

Each component is modeled as a separate STL file, allowing for detailed examination of individual elements or assembly into the complete structure for visualization, analysis, or manufacturing purposes.
