Karakka was designed as a high-speed reconnaissance mecha for the TEC Union, modeled after a bird of prey. But a flaw in its gyroscopic stabilizers pushed the design team towards an awkward, maybe even comical direction. gave it a strange, almost comical wobble in flight and a clumsy way of landing. Many enemies underestimated it, laughing at its odd movements, until Karakka struck. 

Its unpredictable flight path makes it nearly impossible to target, and when it dives, it unleashes plasma-charged talons and a shrieking sonic cannon that can tear through armor.

What looks like a “funny bird” in the sky is, in truth, one of the Unions most lethal assassins. Soldiers whisper that Karakka is the “death that laughs,” appearing goofy until it’s too late to escape.
