Made this laptop stand for my 14" Lenovo Ideapad, the laptop gap is 2cm and the smaller one is 1.5cm.

It also has another slot for smartphones, books or whatever you can fit there, and also 2 side trays for your watch or jewelry. This is a print in place and prints fine with default settings( I used adaptive cubic for infill because I like how it shows with transparent filament). The walls just snap into the tray, and you can even add some glue for extra rigidity.

- for the example in my photos, I applied a fuzzy skin on the contours of the tray, I like it more this way, but it's up to you.

- there are two 11.5 x 3 cm gaps on the main wall where you can place some padding, I used 2mm felt and glued them in place (make sure to wait until your glue dries, and feel it for any hard gaps, I managed to stain my laptop a bit because I didn't wait enough time).
*It's better to first print and then measure the cutouts before you cut you padding and make sure they fit.
