This is a compact and practical case designed for the 30-pin ESP32 DOIT DevKit V1, a popular development board readily available on sites like AliExpress. I created this enclosure because I prefer not to leave the board completely exposed, especially when it's sitting on a desk or embedded in a prototype. Having some level of protection just makes things feel more finished and reliable, even for temporary setups.

The case is designed to snap together using a simple cantilever joint, making it easy to assemble without the need for screws, glue, or any additional hardware. It includes a side cutout that provides access to the MicroUSB port as well as a small opening for GPIO wiring. The wire channel is sized to accommodate up to three wires, which is ideal if you're using the board to control a NeoPixel strip or similar device. It’s laid out for convenient use of the VIN, GND, and GP13 pins, but you can just as easily run other connections through the opening for SPI or I2C communication with sensors or external modules.

The design strikes a balance between being minimalist and functional. It provides enough coverage to keep dust off the board and reduce the risk of accidental shorts, while still keeping everything accessible for development work. You can easily pop the top off to reprogram the board or make changes to your wiring, then snap it back together when you’re done.

In some of the photos, the model was printed on my old Ender 3. If you're using an Elegoo printer or any reasonably well-tuned FDM printer, you should get much better results, more like the photos with blue plastic.
