This is a wall mount for my Warhammer 40k Bolter

Printing

The “light” print profile should be enough to hold everything, assuming you haven't changed the infill amount or added extra parts to the bolter. It feels a little flimsy and will break if you pull on it, but it is fine for holding the bolter.

The “stronger” print profile is thicker and has a flat back that helps with stabilization. It takes more time and filament to print, but if you are worried about the light version, pick this for peace of mind.

I wanted the models lying down instead of standing, but was unable to get proper support. If you manage to print with the models lying down, please share your setup with me.

Mounting Tip

Add strong tape to the back of the mounts and place the bolter in them. Hold your hands under the mounts to stabilize everything while carrying it. Press lightly into the wall while shifting your grip to the bolter. Remove the bolter and use a pencil to mark the drill holes. Remember to remove the tape again. You can also just wing it and see what happens.

Changes From the Original

A big thanks to Erdrick for the original models. I have scaled them to fit my bolter and made them thinner so the bolter is still the main focus. I have also made a stronger version with a flat and thicker back.
