I got a question from a user here. "Have you thought about redesigning the X carriage?"

So I gave it a try. With this design, you could gain about 20mm of printarea, I think.

You don't need to print out a new x-carriage to use this.

I've added the FreeCad file if you want to work with this yourself.

Update 18.02.2017

I've made a new prototype that have the X-Carriage and the e3d mount in one object. This will probably be a difficult print, but I've made it as small as I possibly could without loosing strength.
