Two holiday ornaments that are polyhedra created by beveling cubes - do_two.stl and py_three.stl.
They are about 90 mm in diameter and, made of PLA, suitable for decorating outside trees and displays.
Two rhombic dodecahedra are overlapped to make do_two.stl. The six vertices in each rhombic dodecahedron where 4 planes meet are truncated.
The second ornament is based on a polyhedron composed of 6 square pyramids placed on the faces of a cube. The apices of the pyramids have been truncated. Three such polyhedra have been overlapped to create py_three.stl.
The truncated vertices allow for easier printing. The ornaments print without support.
OpenSCAD code is included.
