Before starting, clean the print bed—glue may be used if necessary.

Do not alter the print layout! The author spent nearly 3 hours carefully arranging the model, and by minimizing support structures while maintaining optimal print quality—remember to enable supports only when they’re generated on the build plate—you can achieve superior results. Beyond that, the layout order directly corresponds to the assembly sequence; I’ve included detailed annotations in the attachment outlining the installation steps. The flower petals are composed of 9 layers in total, and we recommend beginning assembly from the 9th layer.

Each petal is 0.8 mm thick and places specific demands on filament performance—particularly toughness and interlayer adhesion. We recommend using Topcigs’ white PLA. Print the petals as separate components, then assemble them using a tenon-and-mortise joint system. For coloring, we suggest printing in white and applying hand‑applied markers for a vibrant, custom finish.

Coloring tips: Apply bold, vivid hues sparingly along the edges, then use a cotton swab dipped in alcohol (or any other solvent capable of achieving a soft blending effect) to gradually blend and transition the colors inward. This creates a smooth, gradient effect. Alternatively, you can opt to print directly with artistic-grade filaments for an even more expressive finish.
