Handle on my glass lids was broken by children, so i made this reverse ingeneered handle with some usability improvements. It consists of two parts that can be made of different colors and even different plastics. I used it with 28 santimeter lid, but it can be used with 24, 26, 30 and 32 santimeter lid the same way.

I use this handle made of ABS for more than year and it is does not melt or deformate. I think PLA and PETG will deformate because of heat from pan or pot.

There is some postprocessing recommended - i sand parts a little, paint a little with felt-tip pen and than smooth it with acetone, so surface of handle is very smooth. Paint from felt-tip pen integrates into plastic surface. I made this not only for good looking, but also for hygiene - there is no any layer steps or scratches where dust, dirt and microbes can hide. After that handle can be screwed on lid whith any bolt or self-tapping screw of appropriate size. Use spacer if needed.
