Due to the tripod’s wide, spread‑out base design, I was unable to position the camera close enough to the 3D printer when shooting time‑lapse footage. That’s why I developed this extension stand.

The kit includes mounting brackets tailored for both the 860 and 691 tripods—simply select the one that best suits your needs.

This stand is compatible with smartphones, compact cameras, and action cameras. However, we don’t recommend using it with DSLRs (due to their heavier weight).

To install, you’ll need the following accessories:

4 x M3 × 10 screws and nuts

1 x 1/4” camera‑specific screw

Smartphone clamp (which requires a 1/4” screw mount on the bottom)
