“Layered Eaves” is a miniature Chinese octagonal pavilion, fabricated via FDM multi-color integrated printing. The black tiles, white columns, and brown base are not applied as post-processing coatings; instead, they are achieved by seamlessly switching filaments during the printing process, layer upon layer. The eaves feature gracefully curved overhanging edges, while the dougong brackets display a clearly articulated, tiered structure. Eight evenly spaced columns stand in a circular arrangement, and the intricately carved railing at the base boasts crisp, well-defined patterns—capturing an entire traditional Chinese garden pavilion within a palm-sized form.

No glue assembly is required, nor does it need hand-painting. Once printed, the piece is ready to use; simply unpack it and place it on a tea table, desk, or model display case. On the curved surfaces of the eaves, the FDM layer lines naturally create a wood‑like texture, lending the object an ethereal, Eastern‑style silhouette from afar, while revealing the unmistakable hallmarks of digital manufacturing up close.
