In Norse mythology the boar was no ordinary beast. Gullinbursti, the golden-bristled boar of the gods, was forged by dwarves and gifted to Freyr a creature that could outrun any horse and light up the darkest night with the glow of its bristles. Warriors carved boar symbols into their helmets before battle, believing the animal's ferocity and fearlessness would pass into them.

This piece carries that same energy. A wild boar's face covered in flowing Celtic knotwork, two silver tusks ready to charge, and an expression that makes it very clear this thing does not back down.

This one looks incredible on a wall. But honestly, mounted on a front door it sends a message. 🐗

Print Settings:
Printed standing at 0.16mm layer height for the best surface quality and detail. Tree supports recommended and remove cleanly. Laying it down should also work but I haven't tested it standing gives the crispest results.

About the Model & Painting:
This piece already looks stunning in raw black, but with a dry-brush finish it transforms into a true centerpiece artifact. The entire boar was first dry-brushed in Nicpro Copper, giving the fur and face that deep, warm tone. The Celtic knotwork and swirling ornaments were then picked out in Nicpro Gold, making every line pop against the copper base. The tusks got a silver treatment to set them apart and give that raw, bone-like contrast.
