High-Airflow Desiccant Pod (Secure Twist-Lock)
A lightweight, high-performance desiccant container designed to live inside your filament spool centers or dry boxes. This pod focuses on maximum air exposure and a "no-spill" secure closure.
Key Features:
- 360° Ventilation: Integrated 1.5mm hexagonal mesh on the top and bottom allows for total airflow through the beads.
- Secure-Twist Lid: Robust thread design ensures the lid stays locked tight, preventing desiccant spills in your storage bins.
- PETG Optimized: Geometry is designed to print reliably in PETG, making it safe for heat-recharging in a dehydrator or oven.
- Bead-Safe Mesh: Sized specifically to contain standard silica gel beads while maximizing passive dehumidifying.
- Fast & Efficient: Minimized material usage for a quick print that doesn’t sacrifice structural strength.
👉 The top/bottom pattern is created in the slicer. I've used Gyroid to avoid PETG issues, but there are plenty of other good options!
