3D-printable recessed spotlight holder, designed to make installation as quick and easy as possible, with a clean, minimalist finish. Compatible with GU10 lamps (two-pin base with 10 mm spacing, typically used in recessed spotlights).

Features

  • Compatible with standard GU10 spotlights.

  • Installation-friendly fixing system: two spring tabs (one long + one short) that guide insertion and lock the holder into the cutout.

  • Dedicated retaining ring to secure the spotlight in its seat after wiring.

Assembly (step-by-step)

  1. Print all parts of the set.

  2. Fit the two spring tabs into their slots on the holder: first the long one, then the short one.

  3. Prepare the cutout in the mounting surface: approximately at least 73×73 mm, but the final size may vary depending on wall thickness and material.

  4. Insert the holder into the cutout starting from the side with the long spring tab.

  5. Gently flex the short spring tab as well, and push the holder in until it is fully seated.

  6. Once the holder is fixed in place, wire the GU10 spotlight and insert it into the holder.

  7. Lock the spotlight using the retaining ring, which snaps into its dedicated recess.

Important note

Always work with the power switched off during electrical connections, and verify clearances/temperatures.
