This is a custom-built planting container designed specifically for Platycerium (staghorn ferns).
If you’re tired of the standard, one-size-fits-all hemispherical mounting method for staghorn ferns, you might want to consider this wall‑mounted planter.
The design incorporates a lattice pattern that ensures optimal air circulation around the fern’s roots, while also allowing excess water to drip off after thorough watering—preventing waterlogging that could lead to root rot.
The interior planting chamber is filled with specialized staghorn fern growing moss; please do not use soil.
With overall dimensions of 16 x 15 x 10 cm, this planter can comfortably accommodate most staghorn fern varieties.
We recommend using matte‑finish PLA for printing—it delivers a sleek, minimalist aesthetic, whereas PETG may occasionally warp or curl at the edges.

We suggest printing with PLA; PETG has a higher likelihood of warping or delaminating at the edges.

The design includes pre‑drilled slots for two 10 x 3 cm strong magnets. You can use pliers to press in standard‑size magnets—but keep in mind that on certain metal surfaces, the magnetic attraction may be insufficient to ensure secure adhesion; testing has shown that the planter can firmly attach to refrigerator doors, however.

The hook attachment is only compatible with 8 x 12 mm holes found on heavy‑duty shelving posts—please take note. If your mounting hardware is smaller than 8 x 12 mm, simply scale down the design proportionally!
