After about a year and a half the band holding the Curve Light onto my seatpost tore. So I decided to make a new one. As of right now this only works for 27,2 mm seatposts, but I could also add longer or shorter versions if you need them.

Printing

I used TPU 95A and printed it in the orientation it is uploaded.

Deactivating infill and top/bottom layers makes the band a little more flexible, but if you printing it in softer materials printing it solid might also be fine.

Replacement

First thing you need to do is to separate the metal poles from the old band. They are not glued in, so you can push them out with a screwdriver or something like that.

Now take the old band off and put in the new one. The orientation doesn't rely matter here. 

Then you can put the metal poles back in. They should stay in place without glue, just like they did before.
