led strip track

A simple 90 degree LED track for holding LED strips - best used for hidden areas, no diffuser cover.
Mounts to wall and LEDS face down.
A solution that worked for me and maybe some others. This is an LED track that allows the track itself to be mounted to the wall and the LED strip to point downwards. It does not have a diffuser or anything so it is best used hidden away - which is the situation I found myself in.
Features:
- will hold many types of led strips in place without taping the strips to the mount using the built in pegs
- the pegs give a space of 3.4mm which should be enough for most strips to be slid right in
- the pegs work alright
- at the very least the pegs will hold the LED strip in case the subpar double sided tape on most strips fails to hold them
- tabs spaced for 60leds/meter strips to not block LED's
- can be screwed to the wall or double sided taped if you have good double sided tape
- slats to help the heat of the LED strip escape and to save on filament
- modular I guess - just print a bunch and put them side by side and you are all set
- only 13g per track piece
Dimensions:
- 232.4mm width
- 19.2mm depth (will fit LED strips up to 17mm wide
- 18.2mm height (the side that takes the screws and mounts to the wall)
- pegs allow LED strips up to 3.4mm thick
Pictures:
In the pictures you can see the track with different types of strips in them, fit well for even the waterproof strips with their silicone covering.
There is also a picture of a section mounted in place in my home.
