This is a cafetera pen/pencil holder I designed after my wife asked for one. I do not have a multicolor printer, so this was done on the Centauri Carbon in two parts. 1st part is the base or holder. 2nd part is the cover that is glued on the front. There are pauses on the print to get this effect. If you print the model as is, the pauses and color changes will be below. If you decide to scale up, please check your slicer for pause settings. Color order should remain the same. The base was printed with minimal tree supports to the build plate only.
Pause & Color Settings
Pause at Layer 12 - Switch to White
Pause at Layer 14 - Switch to Red
Pause at Layer 17 - Switch to Blue
Pause at Layer 19 - Switch to White
That should be the end of the print. You will have to glue the cover plate onto the front of the holder. I use CA glue with an activator, but any super glue should work. I would enable ironing, if you want a super smooth finish for the cover piece.
