Do all of these bullet points apply to you?

  • You own a Bambu A1 Mini
  • You either use the AMS Lite, or you top-mounted your spool holder (using a model like this), and didn't attach anything to the back of the machine where the spool holder would normally be
  • You use ThreeD-Michael's Bed Scraper XL
  • You'd like a slightly more convenient place to store said scraper

If so, this model might be for you!

I just wanted to utilize the spool holder clip that comes with the A1 Mini, and this is what I came up with. I started with this model (since it already includes the indentation for the clip), and adjusted it to work for my very specific needs. This holder is easy to take on and off the machine, and it stays firmly in place. The XL scraper has enough room to comfortably slide in and out (but not enough room to loudly rattle around while the machine is in use!)

You should ideally print it in the standing position - I tried it on its side, which did work, but it just wasn't as smooth. No supports/brim necessary. I used Sunlu PLA+ Grey. I have extremely little experience with any kind of 3D modeling, so I know this thing isn't perfect. It uses 20 grams of filament, but takes about an hour to print. I'm sure it can be done more efficiently, I just don't recommend adjusting the # of walls. When I tested it with only 2, the inner walls were really flimsy.
