Originally built as a prototype companion droid, CX-0 never made it past the testing phase due to a “slight” design flaw: its face constantly displays an exaggerated error mode with X-mark eyes, giving it the look of a defeated plush toy.

Shaped like a chubby bunny with oversized ears, CX-0’s rounded body and soft edges were meant to evoke friendliness and comfort. The dangling front extension (intended as a multifunctional sensor) looks more like a comical tongue, adding to its goofy charm.
