Ariel, from The Everborn Saga Comic Universe by Stephen A.M. Johnson

Ariel is a restless troublemaker and one of only two humans in a wolf warrior clan, raised under a fragile truce he barely understands and trained in secret by his guardian Baldemar. He dreams of adventure beyond the wildwood, but a prophecy says he’s the one destined to face the Immortal Seraph Magnus (The Everborn) ... whether he’s ready or not.

Ariel’s Adventure will decide whether he becomes the savior foretold… or the spark that ignites the war that ends the world.

You can learn more about this story at https://www.everbornsaga.com/

Supports ARE required on only two parts, hair and glove_right.  See notes for specific printing and assembly tips.

If you have the proper filament colors, no painting is needed.

The assembled model is 180mm tall

Enjoy!

As part of the verification process, Stephen A.M. Johnson printed his first copy, (of many more to come) at 200%.  His print is in the pictures section.

Note: Stephan reached out to me to make this model of his main character.  I do not charge for my work but choose my models with care.  I found Stephan extremely knowledgeable and is very passionate about his work, so I took on this project.

**Printing and assembly tips**

Printing tips

1 - Supports are required on hair and glove_right

*supports: default organic/tree supports were used on:
  - hair (along with a three layer raft)
  - glove_right (from bed only and suppress the ones for the pin if you can)

2 - There are some pieces that may need brims or rafts, use your discretion.  When setting up my prints I prefer to be conservative to ensure the least chance of a print failure, especially since the base of many parts are hidden when inserted into another part.  Rafts also ensure that the first layer of small parts will have a better fit for my models.

*I used a raft on the following parts to endure a clean fit, and strongly recommend it for this model:
  - eyes (raft only needed for small part bed adhesion, if needed)
  - eyebrow_right/left
  - bag_buttons

* I did not use brims on any parts, (this model was printed on my MK4S with a smooth plate) but there are a number of parts that may benefit from brims for other machines and bed surfaces.

3 - The eyes are printed with a color change. I used five .2mm layers of white and then two .2mm layers of black.

4  - When removing parts from the printer bed, it's a **VERY** good idea to place left/right parts into separate containers to help with the assembly process.  Sometimes the difference between the left and right parts is very small but it is still worth keeping track of them and assembling them in their proper place.

..

Assembly tips:

1 - Take your time gluing the model together and enjoy the process.  Give some thought into which parts to glue together as groups and then gluing the groups together. Let the glue for each group set completely before combining groups.

2 - I used 3D Gloop (strong fast drying) and E6000 (tacky slow drying) glues to put this model together.  For both glues using a smaller amount is usually better than more glue.

3 - **important** for all my models, be sure to dry fit all parts before gluing.

4 - The eyebrows are exceptionally small, so using sticky glue,  just wiggle them in until it looks good.  The dents in the head for the eyebrows are just suggestions as opposed to a true fit.  Remember, less glue is better.  Glue in the eyes and brows to the head before putting the hair on.

5 - The head snaps into the hair.  Be sure to line up the ears on the head with the ear slots in the hair.  No glue is needed.

6 - Both arms have a little extra wiggle room, so glue them all at the same time and fit into position.  The sword tip should glue to the shoe for a bit of extra support.

7 - Refer to the assembly diagrams in the pictures section as well as the uploaded pictures for putting the model together. The model is meant to be glued.

Do not hesitate to ask questions, feedback is essential to making better models.
