Description:
Tired of skeletons, but still in the mood for Halloween models, I tried creating a larger, more complex model: a spider lurking on the head of its next victim!
I initially tried using the spider's legs as the teeth of the hair clip, but the pose was too stiff and unnatural. So, I opted for a web-shaped hair clip, on which to rest the large spider in a more dynamic and menacing pose.
Please note that while hair combs can be used independently to hold hair in place with certain hairstyles and hair types, they are primarily designed for decorative purposes and may require a hair tie to secure the desired style.
Printing Instructions:
The support is already set up to meet the needs of the model. For the infill, I used 100% to make the model more durable, considering the thin legs; I don't recommend reducing this value, as this could make the legs and teeth too fragile (the difference in filament used isn't much).
Assembly Instructions:
No assembly required, as the model is made in one piece.
Post-processing:
Removing the support must be done slowly, very delicately, and patiently, to avoid damaging the legs or teeth. I recommend starting from the top of the model, on the back of the spider, and then working down the sides, leaving the teeth for last. To free the clasp teeth, I suggest using small scissors with a curved blade, then gently sanding them to remove any traces of the support.
