Forged in the broken mind of Built Over Bot and printed with Polymaker Polylight Metallic Blue and Polymaker Starlight meteor filament comes ExCaliper designed to be printed perfectly with a duel extruder as it uses 2 colors making for less waste.  Excaliper like the Snapmaker Artisan printer that inspired it has 3 functions; first it will work as a Tsquare to help you in drafting tasks.  2nd it will work as a measuring device.  You can split the handle to produce calipers and use it as a depth gauge or height gauge.  And last of all it works as a nice decoration on the wall.....  I know you expected me to say home defense but yeah that would be bad advice The handle of ExCaliper is split so both sides stay on the metal ruler giving you the ability to make repeatable measurement and are held together with a pin when configured like a sword.  For the pin I designed it to be a variation of a K2 Makerchip that has lots of videos and tutorials so that the maker of ExCaliper can put his or her Makerchip on the sword they proudly display in their own Makerspace  This is a free download but you must be a member to sell prints of our designs.  We are also not allowing remixes of this file other than the pin which was designed as a tribute to the Makerchip design by K2 Kevin.  As for printing it we printed the sword without a prime tower without issues and designed it to use as few changes as possible but that will depend on color choices and filament.  We used a HyperTough metal ruler you can get for less than $3 at walmart so that we could get metric measurements.  https://www.walmart.com/ip/Hyper-Tough-36-inch-Ruler-Bulk-Aluminum-Metal-Black/547338368
