Here’s my Gromit toilet roll holder, re-mixed from the headphone stand by Jisimomd,
Usually, I am not a fan of supports, but in order to get most of the design to print as one piece (without having too much glueing), I find that supports work well in this case.
I have also used the colour change functionality of Prusa Slicer to get the eye pupils and nose a different colour without the need for glueing and the supports facilitate that. The Prusa MK3S printer I use has a manual colour change facility, but I am not sure if that works with other printers. If you are unable to print in different colours then one could paint-on the eye pupils and nose in black.
To assemble, simply glue in the eyes and ears. Ears are fairly tight fitting.
I have included a couple of Prusa Slicer project files to show how the supports and colour changes work. Look at the way the organic supports enable the base to be printed as an all-in one print.
