This project is a 3D-printed, multi-functional suspended learning and gaming stand custom-designed for the Lenovo Legion Y700 Gen 5 gaming tablet. Guided by the core design philosophy of “all‑scenario adaptability, structural innovation, and enhanced user experience,” it integrates learning support, handheld gaming functionality, and multi-device expansion into one compact solution—making it both creative and highly practical.

I. Design Philosophy

The design centers on addressing pain points in tablet use across all scenarios and delivering an integrated solution. Key highlights include:

1. Creative Suspended Support Structure: A dual‑support system featuring four transparent filament strands paired with a central cylindrical pillar. The transparent filaments create a visually “floating” effect, enhancing visual impact while maximizing ventilation space behind the tablet. Meanwhile, the central cylinder provides load‑bearing support and positional stability, effectively mitigating heat buildup during prolonged use.

2. Ergonomic Handle Extension: A custom‑designed snap‑on handle that not only securely attaches to both sides of the tablet but also features an ergonomic curved profile that precisely fills the gap between the tablet’s back and your hand. This ensures a snug, evenly distributed grip, transforming the tablet into a handheld device and significantly improving comfort and control during extended gaming sessions.

3. Modular Multi‑Scenario Adaptability: Equipped with expandable slots, the stand can quickly convert into a phone holder when paired with dedicated accessories. Its adjustable back panel supports multiple tilt angles, covering learning, movie watching, gaming, live streaming, and other scenarios—truly achieving “one device, multiple uses.”

• Installation Foundation: An orange load‑bearing platform and a gray base feature pre‑drilled holes at each corner, along with a central cylindrical slot designed to secure the structure and provide stable support.

• Assembly Steps: Thread four transparent filament strands through the designated mounting holes, adjust tension, and secure both ends using hot glue or snap‑fit connectors. Then insert the central cylinder into its limiting groove to aid load distribution and prevent misalignment.

• Result: The transparent filaments appear virtually invisible yet firmly support the tablet, leaving the back completely open for optimal heat dissipation.

2. Gaming Handle Core Functionality (Snap‑On + Padding Grip)

• Installation Method: The handle features precision snap‑on fittings at both ends; simply press against the tablet’s edges to lock it into place without tools. Disassembly is quick and hassle‑free, ensuring no obstruction of buttons, ports, or cooling vents.

• Grip Optimization: The handle’s ergonomic curve closely conforms to the tablet’s back, filling the gap between the device and your palm to eliminate uncomfortable pressure points. Even under sustained use, force is evenly distributed, reducing fatigue and providing a more stable, intuitive grip.
