This model recreates the Lovevery Montessori early-learning box toy for 16- to 18-month-olds. For parents who find Montessori toys too expensive, this can serve as an affordable alternative.
After passing the pediatrician’s “stacking blocks” test, my child developed a strong interest in stacking objects. However, the 20-piece wooden blocks I previously purchased were somewhat slippery; once stacked six high, it became difficult to add more layers, and my daughter would feel quite frustrated when they toppled over. This toy is ingeniously designed: the cylindrical pieces feature a recessed groove on top and a raised bump underneath, allowing babies to easily stack them higher and higher. At its tallest, up to 11 blocks can be stacked without falling. It also helps develop color and quantity recognition—while playing with your child, you can naturally teach them to count from 1 to 10.
The model is printed using matte PLA filament, with customizable colors. All edges and corners have been chamfered for added safety, resulting in a smooth, rounded feel that’s easy for little hands to grasp.
Plate 1 serves as the base.
Plate 2 contains the building blocks, which need to be printed in four different colors.
