Practice your aim with reusable d12 slingshot ammo that bounces (TPU) instead of breaking (PLA), prints fast in TPU or PLA, and brings a touch of tabletop flair to every shot.
Tips for printing TPU
Without a separating layer, you will tear the PEI off the build plate. I use the "3DLAC stick" and have had very good experiences with it. It can also be completely washed off the print bed.
Apart from that, TPU is surprisingly easy to print and incredibly robust. The right choice for ammunition that you can use again and again and that is flexible enough not to reduce everything in your home to rubble.
What about PLA?
PLA has practically no flex and may shatter on impact. But you can shoot cans and bottles wonderfully with it and the “pling” on a traffic sign is just magical. PLA is also cheap and you have enough of it lying around. Any leftover spool will do.
