Core Mechanism

Nighttime mushrooms (Cherry Bomb, Peashooter, Bawling Mushroom, Hypno-shroom, Magnet Shroom, Melancholy Mushroom, etc.)
When planted in the daytime scene, they close their eyes and go dormant, rendering them completely inactive.
Planting a Coffee Bean over a dormant mushroom instantly wakes it up, and this effect is permanent.

Cherry Bomb, Peashooter, Bawling Mushroom, Sunflower, Hypno-shroom, Magnet Shroom, Melancholy Mushroom, Frostbite Mushroom, Destruction Mushroom

Small Details

1. Can only be used on dormant mushrooms; cannot be planted on other plant types;

2. A one-time-use item that disappears after use, but the mushroom remains awake permanently;

3. Destruction Mushrooms and Frostbite Mushrooms must rely on Coffee Beans to function during the day;

4. In pool and rooftop daytime levels, if you want to field a mushroom lineup, you absolutely need to bring this item.

Second-Generation Additions (PVZ2)

In the second generation, most mushrooms no longer have the daytime-sleep mechanism,
and the Coffee Bean has been directly removed, no longer appearing in the game.
