How It Works
Place the insert inside a pot with an internal diameter of approximately 235 mm.
Fill the potting mix above the insert.
Pour water through the central fill tube until the reservoir is full.
Plant roots will access moisture through the openings and wicking action of the soil.
Refill the reservoir as needed through the fill tube.
Notes
Designed for 3D printing without supports.
PETG provides the best balance of strength, durability, and water resistance.
Depending on your pot design and plant type, a small overflow hole may be added to prevent overfilling.
This self-watering insert is ideal for plant owners who want healthier plants with less frequent watering and a more consistent root-zone moisture level.
