Snapmaker U1 Wall Mount Spool Holder

The Snapmaker U1 is an excellent printer, but the side-mounted spool holders require a significant amount of extra space on both sides of the machine.

To solve this, I designed a simple wall-mounted spool holder that is fully compatible with the original Snapmaker U1 spool system. By moving the filament spools onto the wall, the printer's overall footprint becomes much smaller, allowing you to place multiple U1 printers closer together.

For example, on my 180 × 80 cm workbench, I could only fit 2 Snapmaker U1 printers using the original side-mounted spool holders. After mounting the spools on the wall, there's enough space to fit a third printer on the same desk.

I recommend printing this model in PETG for better long-term durability and improved resistance to creep under continuous load.
