• Required Hardware: You will need a total of 8 magnets (6mm diameter × 3mm height) for the two-part mount system.
• Print Pause (Crucial): The sliced file is designed to automatically pause at the exact layers where the magnet cavities are located.
• Magnet Polarity: Pay close attention to the orientation of the magnets! Double-check the polarity before inserting them and letting the print resume, so the remote and wall mount actually attract each other.
• Installation: Apply high-quality double-sided adhesive tape (mounting tape) to the back of the wall bracket and to the flat back of the remote attachment pieces.

Pro-Tip for Maximum Tape Adhesion

• Watch out for Textured Build Plates: The remote attachment pieces are taped on their flat side (the side that touches the print bed). If you are using a textured or powder-coated build plate, the resulting texture can drastically reduce the surface area and weaken the adhesive bond of your tape.
• The Fix: If your tape doesn’t hold well, use a piece of fine-grit sandpaper to lightly sand the printed surface. This creates a slightly rougher, more uniform surface that ensures the tape sticks perfectly and permanently to the plastic.
